05/02/17 - A big thank you to Ballarat Athletics Club and Mark Dobbyn for our inclusion and handicapping / organisation in the Ballarat Gift. Thanks to Dan, Dino, Leo, Rod and Cathy and the countless results and registration volunteers who made the day such a success.

We have our annual modified program Saturday 4th Feb as part of the prestigious Ballarat Gift.
Finalists will be posted here on Saturday night and run on Sunday 5th Feb.

Many of our former Little Athletes now run professionally in this very exciting variation of the sport.
Now it’s your turn. All Ballarat Little Athletics Centre athletes have been assigned a handicap based on your personal best.
HERE are your handicaps; see how your speed and mental toughness match up, as you run for the win. All athletes have an equal chance !

Some of the main points:
1) Check-in is earlier this year; Saturday 8.45am at the Eastern Oval.
Heats begin at 9.15am
2) All athletes will have their name and handicap in the program
3) All athletes will be given vouchers at the gate when they arrive
4) Sashes / medals have been organised for all placegetters
5) Prizemoney for all finalists
6) Entry is free for everyone on Saturday ($5 per car if you want to drive into venue)
7) $5 per adult and $5 per car on the Sunday. Children U16 and Seniors are free.
8) Finalists of the U6 to U8 100m and the U9 to U11 100m, parade with the men's and women's finalists.
9) All competing athletes receive aggregate ( ie participation ) points toward the end of season Ballarat Little Athletics Centre awards.
